I am a master’s level licensed professional counselor who has been working with individuals and families for 10 years. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents. I believe in a client-led approach, utilizing differing techniques to assist with depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, life stressors, transitions, trauma, relationship concerns, and grief/loss.

Areas of Focus: Ages 18 and up (adolescents on a case-by-case basis); Trauma, Grief, Older Adults, Substance/Addiction Recovery, Depression, Anxiety. 

Treatment Modalities: Behavioral Therapy: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Person-Centered Therapy; Trauma and Grief approaches. 

Education & License: Ellen is an LPC licensed in Missouri. She has an Master's in Rehab Counseling from Mississippi State University
